Sources confirm to me exclusively that Cuthbert has inked a deal to reprise her role as Jack’s lightning rod of an offspring for a season-ending arc that will no doubt trigger a new round of wholly outdated and painfully unfunny cougar jokes. Per my 24 mole, Kim will return minus her old beau (sorry, C. Thomas Howell) and plus a child! That’s right, Kim’s got a little puma all her own!

Some wonderful news popped up on the net! Elisha might be returning in Season 7 of the hitserie “24″! Wouldn’t that be awesome!!!!?

Kim Bauer may be coming back! 24 exec producer/director Jon Cassar just revealed to me exclusively that there have been preliminary discussions about bringing back Jack’s much-maligned daughter this season. “We have talked about it,” he confirms. “But anytime we talk about Kim, we immediately say, ‘Let’s not do anything with her that will result in the audience hating her.’” I also got some intel on the “return” of Martha Logan and the status of that long-rumored 24 feature, but I’ll have to save that for later since I’m racing off to cover Fox’s all-star party at the Santa Monica Pier. Unfortunately Elisha’s new TV show Ny-Lon is cancelled.
First it wasn’t picked up by CBS’ fall schedule, but now it’s dead.

UPDATE: I’m told that the comedy Single White Millionaire (WBTV) has been killed. The Tower (CBS Paramount) isn’t dead, but also isn’t on the schedule. Its fate might be decided in a few weeks. The comedy Worst Week (Universal Media Studios) is picked up. The drama NY-LON (ABC TV Studios/Beacon) is dead. Also, the Ed Yeager/Rick Swartzlander comedy pilot that’s been picked up to series and stars Jay Mohr (I love this guy) is now called Project Gary.

Such a shame! Elisha really needs to get it back on track and appear in a good show soon. Nothing has done good since “24″. It also appears that her new movie “My Sassy Girl” is going straight to DVD, meaning it skips theatres!

“According to sources close to the pair, actress Elisha Cuthbert and her hockey-playing beau, Sean Avery, have called it quits after almost two years together.

One pal of the ex-couple says it was Elisha who pulled the plug on the relationship. But don’t feel bad for Sean, who didn’t appear to be brokenhearted about the breakup when he was spotted hitting on Elisha’s good friend Paris Hilton at the LG House in Malibu on Aug. 26.”
